Try watching it at 40-something! Mind you, I thought they all looked MUCH older than me. But I was disappointed at what happened, ie Miles buggering off to Timbuktu, of all places, and Mark Lawson interviewing a first-time novelist like that - as if!
Yes, I thought it was a bit disappointing, and just too unrealistic for me - as if you could resolve all those 'issues' in one weekend! I hated the documentary device as well - it was all a bit too forced. And most importantly what the hell happened to Miles' hair??
